The Process

Paperwork

Once you give the green light to schedule a shoot, we'll set a date and time that works for everyone. You'll then receive digital paperwork.

-Photography Services Agreement. This is a one-time signature that sets the terms for any work we do together moving forward.

-Property release. The release is always optional, but greatly appreciate it so that I can show off your beautiful work!

-Invoice. The first 50% instalment of the invoice is due to lock-in the date(s) with the remaining 50% due no later than final image delivery and can be paid online via credit card or bank transfer.

After the first shoot, you'll just receive just a Property Release and an Invoice for each shoot moving forward.

Finalise Plans

We chat about any specific needs for this shoot. This is the moment to ask questions, send me pics from your phone so we can plan angles, etc.

 

For 20 photos or more. shoots, I'm happy to do a walk-through of the property/premises before the photoshoot day to plan out photos and address any questions/concerns you may have about the location.

Shoot day

Lets shoot! I typically estimate up to 1.5 hours for each space so that we have time to get wide shots, vignettes, and details and everything styled and positioned just right.

 

Spaces should be cleaned and styled before I arrive.

 

 I'm always happy to give input during the shoot! I like to approach each project as a collaboration so that I can use my skills to best show off your work.

 

To this end, we'll look at each shot together and make adjustments as needed for that angle. (We each have an iPad to make this easy peasy!).

Within 72 hours you’ll receive a link to proof all the images and select your favourites for final editing.


I will make some general basic edits to give you a sense of what’s possible so you can make your image selections.

Image Proofing

Final Image Delivery

You receive the photo gallery link! Within one week from the shoot date, you'll receive a link with your fully edited selected photos.

 

This is also the time when you can add additional photos if you'd like, each at the a la carte rate ($85 per photo).

 

Any additional photos are payable during checkout via the online gallery. Photos are fully edited, meaning that I will:

  • make basic adjustments to exposure, sharpness, colour, etc

  • remove visible outlets and light switches (some light switches may remain if they don't get in the way of the design intent)

  • blackout TV or computer screens

 

Any requests for more extensive retouching beyond these may require an additional editing fee. This is typically handled on a case-by-case basis.

Follow Up

A few days after the shoot is over and all the images have been delivered. We will contact you to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the service and your images.
